With the new Service Platform, Schrack Seconet relies on a cloud-based solution that – throughout the entire life cycle of a fire alarm system – ensures smooth operation, but also optimises systems and processes with forward-looking planning. Users are not aware of the complex data evaluations and comparisons that take place in the background. They are presented with tools that score points for clarity and user-friendliness and reliably inform them about important events and recommended adaptation needs.
Protection thanks to data control
The automatic system analysis takes over the task of permanently checking all stored system data and configurations. The current system status is continuously compared with the target state, but also with the latest manufacturer information – the system reports relevant deviations immediately. To make it especially easy for users, the site management feature set has a clear dashboard with a traffic light system: All it takes is a glance to determine the current status quo, identify the need for action at an early stage and plan suitable measures with foresight. A modern fire alarm system must also constantly keep up with the times so that it retains its full availability and does not lose performance. This then means that modernisation & extension contribute significantly to the longevity of Schrack Seconet systems as a separate feature set of the digital Service Platform. The most important task of the tool is to check product compatibility. Example: If a unit is to be replaced or newly integrated into an installation, the system independently checks which model options are available or whether a software update is required for newer models. Subsequently, information on the desired item can be called up and, if it’s available, it can be ordered directly online. Time-consuming searches in product catalogues are now a thing of the past.
